Girl, 9, wounded by stray bullet
A nine-year-old girl was grazed by a bullet while at a neighbourhood shop with her mother.
According to police reports, Amaya Taylor was at a shop at the corner of Prince and George streets around 11:30 am on Thursday, when gun shots were heard.
The child was wounded on her upper chest.
She was taken to the Port of Spain General Hospital by police.
Police say her injuries were not life threatening.
