National Domestic Violence Mapping Project gets underway
Domestic violence cases in T&T are on the rise.
This is according to Sherna Alexander Benjamin, Development Consultant at The Centre for Nonviolence, Research, and Development, who notes that there appears to be a disconnect between state organizations and those directly affected by violence.
To address this issue, the Centre has launched the National Domestic Violence Mapping Project, an initiative that aims to assess and analyse existing programs and evaluate their effectiveness.
