NTA announces constituencies it’s contesting for General Election
The National Transformation Alliance (NTA) has announced its intention to contest ten constituencies in the upcoming General Election. Political Leader Gary Griffith will run in one of these seats, with the remaining nine candidates to be revealed by the end of September.
“We recognize the overwhelming support for the NTA in these Constituencies and view this as a crucial step in our journey toward National Transformation as we prepare for the General Election,” Griffith said in a statement.
The NTA leader also observed that another political party has adopted campaign colours similar to those of the NTA, a significant shift from its previous colour scheme.
Griffith remarked: “It’s clear that the NTA’s influence is making waves in the political scene. Whether they’re trying to mimic us or create confusion, it just shows how impactful we are.”
The constituencies the NTA will be targeting are:
– San Fernando West
– La Horquetta / Talparo
– Tunapuna
– St. Joseph
– Toco / Sangre Grande
– Moruga / Tableland
– Mayaro
– Pointe-a-Pierre
– Chaguanas East
– Barataria / San Juan
