San Fernando man killed on birthday

POLICE are investigating the murder of Curtis Demol, 50, who was found dead at the front of his home at Bougainvillea Street, Thompson Gardens on the morning of August 20.

Neighbours told Newsday Demol, who turned 50 that day, was found on the ground by his sister, who then alerted them. Although details are still sketchy neighbours and relatives believe he was chopped to death.

Police were at the scene up to 1 pm making initial enquiries.
