Diosdado Cabello on Trump’s victory: “A more cordial understanding could be on the table”
Diosdado Cabello, Minister of the Interior, Justice and Peace, congratulated Donald Trump on Wednesday for his victory in the United States presidential election and pointed out that During this new term of the Republican, a more cordial understanding with the government of Nicolás Maduro could be on the table.

“The hypocrisy of Venezuelan extremism is so monumental that they live asking for minutes, questioning and attacking the CNE, but they say absolutely nothing about the archaic electoral system of the United States,” he added.
Diosdado Cabello: “Relations between the United States and Venezuela will remain as they are”
He pointed out that Venezuela’s “extremist” opposition believes that Trump’s victory will return the country to the 2019 stage, something that, he assured, is not currently being considered.
“Relations between the United States and Venezuela will remain as they are, but there may be a small twist”he insisted.
Diosdado Cabello said that if Trump wants Venezuelan oil, there will be no problem, but he will have to pay for it.
“If you fulfill what you said, that you were going to end wars, welcome to this world,” he concluded.
Trump won the election with a total of 277 electoral votes compared to the 224 obtained by Democrat Kamala Harris.
