Edmundo González rejects red alert request against him
The Venezuelan opposition leader Edmundo González Urrutia described this Thursday as a “new and systematic attack” the ratification of a red alert to the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol), requested by the Public Ministry.
“It is evident that this new and systematic attack is due to our work abroad,” said González, exiled in Spain, in a message in X that he accompanied with a copy of the document.
He indicated that his tour of countries is to carry the message about «the undisputed triumph of Venezuelans’ desire for change, the violations of human rights and the next actions, to all decision-making bodies in the world.
«The will of the Venezuelan people is not only recognized by everyone, but will also be respected. “We are working to make it so,” he added the standard bearer of the Democratic Unitary Platform.
