Eight arrested after trying to invade a farm in Falcón
Eight people were arrested by the authorities for attempting to violently invade private property in the state of Falcón.
Unión Radio reported that the individuals were detained red-handed while trying to illegally access the “La Guadalupe” farm in the Píritu municipality of the entity.
The owner of the property assured that the detainees violently entered the property after knocking down the gate and the fence with a tractor model vehicle.
The detainees were identified as: Geraldo Rafael, president of the Cattlemen’s Association of the Zamora municipality; Dik de Jesús, member of the National Peasant Association; and Juan Carlos, provisional public defender.
In addition, Jesús Neptaly, vice president of the National Peasant Movement; José Luís, coordinator of the Peasant Struggle Platform of Carabobo state, and Arnaldo José, César Ramón and Hetmila Nuglenis.
