First Justice rejects Cabello’s accusations
The Venezuelan opposition party Primero Justicia (PJ) rejected this Tuesday that the Minister of the Interior, Diosdado Cabello, linked the party with an alleged plan to overthrow Nicolás Maduro from the state of Zulia.
Through X, PJ assured that “the regime of Nicolás Maduro” is looking for “excuses” to continue with the “persecution” of its leaders, as well as with the “destruction” of the party.
«We denounce these new intentions of the regime before the country and the international community. of increasing violence and persecution against the country’s opposition leadership«, warned the training.
In his opinion, the government wants to “continue imposing fear” through “acts of violence” to not recognize the “will of a country” that voted “for change” in the presidential elections on July 28, when the largest opposition coalition claims that its candidate, Edmundo González Urrutia, was the winner, contrary to the official result, which gave re-election to Maduro.
The Maduro regime wants to continue imposing fear through these acts of violence, only to not recognize the will of a country that decided for change and exercised its popular sovereignty in the past. #28Jul

Cabello denounces plan against Maduro
Last Saturday, Cabello linked the opposition leader María Corina Machado and the PJ leaders Juan Pablo Guanipa and Tomás Guanipa with the alleged operation, in which a businessman from Zulia, according to the minister, met and recruited judges, prosecutors and soldiers to deliver weapons to people now detained and thus prevent the swearing-in of Maduro as president on January 10.
«They have direct links with Iván Simonovis (former commissioner of the Caracas Metropolitan Police who lives in the United States), again with the terrorist María Corina Machado, with Tomás Guanipa, with Juan Pablo Guanipa and a large number of people who are here (… ). “They are all identified,” said Cabello, who did not mention more names to avoid – he said – a possible escape.
The minister reported that the case is in full development and that companies are being raided, without giving more details.
