Frayre leads as Swenne takes 4th stage of Tobago Cycling Classic
Mexican cyclist Eder Frayre held on to the lead in the Tobago International Cycling Classic after Dutchman Delano Swenne won the penultimate stage of the event on Saturday.
The Netherlands cyclist took the win in one hour six minutes and 10.56 seconds, with Garcia Mateo of Colombia in second (1:06:10.86) and Frayre in third (1:06:10.17).
However, the Mexican, who won the opening two stages of the race, kept the overall lead.
Among the local cyclists, Emile Abraham was fourth overall in 1:06:11.54, with Akil Campbell in 10th place (1:06:11.15).
The Tobago International Cycling Classic concludes on Sunday.
