The National Bagpipe Foundation announced the holding of Gaiteros de Corazón at Christmas, a series of free concerts that will bring together more than 40 groups bagpipers of children, young people and adults.

The activity will take place every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, starting on Friday, December 6 at 6:00 pm, in the Acoustic Shell of the Ana María Campo Monumental Park. The space has attractions such as a food fair, parking and parks for the little ones in the house, providing a unique experience for Zulian families.

For four consecutive weekends, attendees will enjoy a first-class technical display with sound, screens and lighting, designed to enhance our traditional music.

The opening of each concert will be performed by a children’s group from Maracaibo, San Francisco or the Eastern Coast.

This initiative seeks to project the talent and work of the bagpipe groups that they have been developing during the year, bringing joy, unity and culture to the people of Zulia this month.

“Thanks to the support of the national government, through the National Bagpipe Foundation, Gaiteros de Corazón en Navidad is consolidated as an activity that promotes our cultural roots for free,” said Endri Méndez, president of the National Gaita Foundation.
