María Corina Machado denounced the siege of her mother’s house

The opposition leader María Corina Machado denounced this Saturday, November 30, that the State security forces were once again surrounding her mother’s house, Corina Parisca by Machadolocated in Caracas.

“They went back to my mom’s house tonight. Cowards,” wrote the opposition political leader on her X account.

Constant siege of María Corina Machado

This is not the first time in recent months that state security forces have besieged Machado’s family properties.

On November 28, the Venezuelan Command reported that several patrols belonging to the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (Sebin) surrounded the home of Corina Parisca de Machado, with sirens on and hooded officials on board.

«Today, Thursday, November 28, until this time (9:00 pm), two Sebin patrols have parked twice in front of the door of María Corina Machado’s mother’s house, with sirens on and hooded officials. hanging around the access. They have remained on the site for half an hour on each occasion, and then left,” they detailed through the X account of the Con Venezuela Command on that occasion.

Given this situation, Machado had already spoken out to reject the actions against his family.

During an interview with the journalist Goizeder Azúa, he stated: «In the end, when they touch on the issue of family that is another level and something that affects on a different level and well, I have prayed a lot since yesterday so that my mother be well.”

He also mentioned that the objective of these actions is to sow terror in Mrs. Corina Parisca de Machado in order to destabilize her. “But it doesn’t happen, it doesn’t move forward, it’s another level,” he clarified.

Other complaints

This new fact adds to the complaints of Pedro Urruchurtu Noselli, a member of Machado’s team and a refugee in the Argentine Embassy located in Caracas, that they have been surrounded by officials of the State security forces for several days, despite the fact that they have custody of the Brazilian government.

Along with Urruchurtu there are five other opponents sheltering in the diplomatic headquarters which, according to the leader, remains without a supply of drinking water or electricity.
