PNB arrests Zuliano influencer for alleged incitement to hate
Officials of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) arrested the Zulian influencer on Tuesday, November 5, in La Cañada de Urdaneta, in Zulia. Angel David Perozo Cardozoaka «David Lamichi» for, allegedly, incite hatred and affect the image of the national government.
The information was confirmed by the police agency in a press release. In this he indicated that the Zulian influencer “He is involved in crimes of inciting hatred through social networks, where the image of the national government is affected.”
The young Ángel David Perozo has more than 170 thousand followers between Instagram and Tiktok. On these platforms he is dedicated to creating content, mostly comedy videos.
The Zulian influencer was linked to organized crime groups
The PNB stated in the report that The influencer has links with leaders of Structured Organized Crime Groups (GEDO) that operate in the state of Zulia. Furthermore, on his cell phone they found evidence of links with criminal bosses.
The police force sent the screenshot of a video published by Perozo on July 28, presidential election day. In this he assured that He has always voted for the opposition and has never been from Nicolás Maduro’s party. He also urged to vote for change for Venezuela and showed his ballot.
The influencer remains detained in the PNB cells in the San Francisco municipality of Zulia state. His case was left in the hands of the Public Ministry, which must begin the investigations and the judicial process.
