Public Ministry investigates construction of paddle tennis courts
The Public Ministry began an investigation to “punish the serious environmental damage” caused by the padel courts recently inaugurated in the city of Caracas.
In a publication made on Instagram, he detailed that the Attorney General, Tarek William Saab, designated the 87th National Prosecutor’s Office for the investigation. He added that after the inauguration of these fields, birds and other wild species have been affected by hitting the glass of these facilities, causing the death of several of these animals.

Through a video on Instagram, MarquÃs showed an injured macaw, with a bruised and swollen face, which arrived at his office after Baruta police officers rescued it thanks to a neighbor’s report.
The bird, which collided with the glass of a paddle tennis court in Los Samanes, presented a fracture of the cervical vertebrae and skull. In a video published by the veterinarian it is observed that the animal has its neck on its side.
Unfortunately, MarquÃs reported shortly after that The macaw died despite efforts to save its life.
The conservationist assured that it was the second case of death of a macaw in Los Samanes in less than a week.
«Birds crash into these fields every day. “Only yesterday I approached one and there was that dead bird,” he said.
In the images he shared on social networks, MarquÃs showed another macaw that arrived at his office two months ago very seriously, without even being able to swallow.
He also crashed into the paddle tennis court in Los Samanes. Fortunately he is improving, but he cannot have a normal position due to a neck injury.
