Venezuelans complied with the swarm, the protest called by María Corina Machado
In Venezuela, a protest called the swarm to complain against the electoral results given by the National Electoral Council that awarded, without showing minutes, the victory to Nicolás Maduro. This street activity was called by María Corina Machado, leader of the Venezuelan opposition.
In different states of the country, they held specific rallies due to the persecution that broke out after the electoral process.
With banners, Venezuelan flags and some with tricolor caps, they insisted that Edmundo González, the opposition candidate, was the one who won the presidential election.
«Edmundo won here», It was read on a sign they put on the façade of the Manuel Felipe Tovar Lyceum in Valencia, in Carabobo.

The swarm: the opposition demonstration that took place in Venezuela
At other points, such as in Mérida, a group of people were also seen expressing their support for the diplomat, who had to go into exile in Spain. This after the pressure that the Maduro government exerted against him.

In Caracas, workers from at least 11 parishes supported Machado’s fight to achieve political change in the country. “We already won,” said the people gathered, who also criticized the ruling of the Supreme Court of Justice in which Maduro was declared the winner.
The swarm also served for people to show the records of their voting centers, thus demonstrating how in most of the centers Edmundo González obtained the majority of votes.

What did María Corina Machado say about this Saturday’s protest?
In the middle of the activity, the national coordinator of Vente Venezuela sent a message to highlight that the fight is not over. “Dear Venezuelans, today, September 28, in hundreds of cities in the world the spirit of the brave people resounds and in hundreds of cities in Venezuela, people come out and meet with the same cry and in the same hug,” he stated.
The opposition insisted that they achieved an epochal victory on July 28 and that each act is a testimony of the strength, bravery and determination of Venezuelans to be free.
Machado explained that his intention is for Venezuela to become a prosperous, proud, spirited, and secure nation. “Today we are here, giving a testimony to the world, firm, moving forward every day, with more strength and more desire,” he highlighted.
They will not be able to silence every Venezuelan who was proudly part of this great movement💙 We Venezuelans decide, and the decision is irreversible; @EdmundoGU He is our president! 🇻🇪
