Water delivery drivers robbed
Three men delivering water to an elderly resident at Rebecca Lane in Laventille on Friday were robbed of cash and cell phones after finishing their job.
The 33-year-old driver from Caroni Village, Caroni, and two Venezuelan nationals, aged 33 and 23 years, had just completed the delivery around 12:30 pm on August 16, when two armed men approached them.
The suspects took TT$250 in cash from the driver and cell phones from the Venezuelan nationals before fleeing on foot.
Guardian Media understands that police have filed a report, canvassed the area, and requested CCTV footage.
Investigations are ongoing.
